The Cosmic Dance

Pressed Him the thumb of His feet on the lonely space;
Vibrated it with a huge scream of  dynamic three letters;
Thus begin the first step of His furious cosmic Dance.
East and West wondered while North and South feared.
Wrath of the  Supreme has started the act of destruction.

Waters moved quickly and the air blew violently
Mountains broke sadly and the fear grew silently
Fire burned the trees and dance quaked the earth
And snake on the neck spitted the venom of anger

Moved him the feet from left to right and top to bottom,
In harmony with the roaring damaru and singing ghosts.
Men and women ran with fear searching the Lord of Lords.
The supreme cosmic dance neither begins nor ends ;
But goes on as an illusion until the worlds are dead.

The Thandava they call it, the dance of the Divine;
This dance of destruction was alone, aloof and anew.
The end of the world has come oh dear ones!!
At the door the end of the world has come!!
