Stars my friends

They all shined in the sky as if smiling at me
They might have wished me to fly up there
For they are bound by spacetime till death
I wished to fly, but just gazed devoid of wings
They cried and the tears fell on me as rains
Miles apart they are but yet so near to me
They are my friends, the stars in the vast sky
