Trivandrum Days

Majestic is the city of the Lord
Who sleeps on thousand headed serpent.
The early mornings used to wake up
With the tears of dewdrops and
Filled  the day with mind's laughter.
Moments are many but  I will miss them.

Afternoon lunch in the canteen
Spiced up by the waiter's speech
Annoyed by the missed classes
All are now a little memory

Evening coffee with mates
Sitting under the big tree
And the Passing by comments,
The grand museum where
We roamed marking history
All I will miss for sure.

Six o clock chats at the park
Where we six rounded in grass
Discussing the funniest to most serious
Has now become a discussion only

The night at the lotus feet of the Lord
Enjoying the mightiest philosophy
Has now become a new philosophy.
And finally the 10 'O clock dosa
With a salty double bulls-eye
Has now become a taste only

Moments passed but memory never
Ages passed but truth never
The land of the lord I hope will be here
Till my favorite sea swallows it.
